Family mediation
Family mediation focuses specifically on conflicts that occur in the family or in a family situation. Divorce, inheritance, quarrels between siblings or between parents and children for example, are eligible for family mediation.
Multiple Parties
Conflicts within families are often complex. Several members of the family may be involved in family mediation. As an example; it regularly happens that parents and children participate in a mediation together. It also may occur that mediation takes place between brothers and sisters of one family or for example, in the case of an estate or inheritance between uncles and aunts from different branches of the family. Sometimes partners or business associates might have to call in mediation when it comes to a conflict within the (family)business. Anyone with an interest in resolving the conflict can participate.
